While I don't work in a bookstore now, it is my dream to own one someday, so I'm going with this one for my #WorkplaceBook. #SomethingForSept #SeptPhotoChallenge

The book I've decided to bring with me to lunch. Love me some fairy tale retellings. Only one chapter in and I already love the writing style. I can tell this is going to be one emotional ride. #pocauthor #workplacebook #somethingforsept

Here's a #workplacebook fun fact ... I was an extra in the TV movie made from this book. I bought it, but haven't actually read it yet (nor managed to watch the entire movie, for that matter 😂). #SomethingForSept

Hobbinol How cool is that?!!!🎥Were you one of the extra 18 wives?😉 8y
LeahBergen @Hobbinol The story takes place in two time periods; modern day and pioneer Mormon Utah. I was super-bummed that I wasn't hired to be all sun-bonneted and drab. I had to be "modern". ?? Oh, the fickle world of "show biz". ? 8y
SaraFair I read this! It was pretty good and so interesting, but I could have used a little more background on the reasoning behind the lifestyle. 8y
LeahBergen @SaraFair The subject matter is pretty interesting, isn't it? I WILL get to it one day 😉 8y

The first #workplacebook that came to mind. I can recall vividly that time when everyone was being laid off and people just went to work wondering this was the day you'd get the call. #somethingforsept

brendanmleonard beat me to it! 8y
GinaAnderson @brendanmleonard It's a good one, isn't it? 8y

Day 5 of #somethingforsept is #workplacebooks and this is the first one that came to mind. I ❤️ Rainbow Rowell and I adored this book.

Also, I am happy that I don't have to be at my workplace today... On with the #biblioweekend!

Marchpane Awesome selection for this theme! This book has a really great female friendship in it, I could relate to those two ladies exchanging emails all day 😄 8y
erinreads Loved this book! I lent out my copy to a girl at work and she literally had it for a year. When she finally returned it, she left a nice note in it with a review, so that kind of made up for her having it for so long. 8y
Graciouswarriorprincess I haven't read this one yet but I love her! 8y

Jana This is my favorite one of hers! 8y
aLmYbNeNr Love this book! It was my backup for today's challenge because I wasn't sure if it meant books we read for our jobs or books that take place at work. Turns out it can be both! 8y
Eyelit Such a good one! 8y

#septphotochallenge #somethingforsept #workplacebook This is a heart wrenching story of an Indian servant and her upper-middle class employer/housewife. Bhima has worked for Sera more than 20 years, and while a certain "friendship" has developed the space between them can never be bridged. It's a gut buster story that will stay with you for a long long time. Highly recommend?????
