This is one of the best books I‘ve ever read. It is fast paced from the very first line and keeps on going the whole way through. It‘s a heartbreaking account about the violence the cartels cause and the cost immigrants face in trying to escape it for a better life.
As a fan of Elton John and his music for my whole life, this book was a must read for me. It did not disappoint! His honesty was refreshing and his humor is parallel to none. I‘d recommend this to anyone. Take a journey with him from his childhood through becoming a father very late in life. An enjoyable read.
I went into this book with little to no knowledge of Charles Dickens‘ work but it doesn‘t matter. The author weaves such an engaging tale that kept me riveted until the very end. I highly recommend this one!
