This month we are reading Maureen Lee‘s ‘Violet's Children‘

It isn‘t one that I would pick for myself but the best thing about book club is that it challenges you to try out books you may not have even considered before.

BOOK HAUL: JUNE

When I first picked this up I thought I would get bored learning about the early days of Amy‘s career.

However, to my surprise I really enjoyed learning about Amy‘s past and how she developed as a person and a comedienne over the years. I came away with a better understanding of improv and comedy.

Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone with a creative edge. This book changed my perception of the world and myself.
