I feel like I'm the last person to finish Spookathon, but I did it!! I accomplished 3/5 and I had fun too!

Also, I decided to give The Creeping ⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars because while the plot and storyline was decent, I hated the characters so much. I honestly just despised them all and plus I ended up feeling kind of crappy about myself because it felt like if you weren't popular, then you're just going to end up being friendless and ugly. I hate that.

Last day of Spookathon!! I'm hoping that I'll finish The Creeping by tonight, I just have around 100 pages to go. So far I kind of, actually I really hate the characters. All of them. The storyline is decent though but other than that I just can't wait to finish the book. I don't want to deal with these characters anymore.

Just finished my second read for Spookathon! I feel kind of crappy since I was too busy to read this week :/

So I gave this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️ because I feel like this book wasn't what I expected it to be which made it a bit disappointing. I wanted it to be more in Ted's perspective of things. Also there were so many unnecessary details and POVs. It just got a bit boring and I feel like it wasn't as mysterious as I thought it would be.

It's day four and I'm still reading my day two book, I feel very disappointed in myself. It's tough being a student, I wish I could just read instead of doing homework and going to school. My goal is to finish The Kind Worth Killing by today for #Spookathon

Spookathon update: so I finished Behind Closed Doors and I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because it is so freaking good. I breezed through it so fast. I just started The Kind Worth Killing for my spooky title and I'm slowly getting into it.
I feel like I'm not going to make much progress for the rest of the week but I'm going to try. Being a student makes this much more difficult because I don't have a lot of time to read :/

Today's the first day of Spookathon and I immediately started Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris. It's really intriguing and honestly the idea of it is scary. When you think someone is who he says he is, but then once he's out of view from the public and has you in his grips, he's someone else.

I finished History is All You Left Me and it's safe to say that this book totally crushed me with its words. I think this book is 4/5 stars just because I feel like the message that came across it was that you need to be another person to feel whole again. Other than that this book is freaking amazing and I recommend it. Warning: it will make your heart break.

Currently half way through History Is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera! I'm really hoping to complete this book today because I need to be ready for Spookathon. Although, I'm loving this book so much right now. My heart breaks for Griffin (and Jackson). I hope griffin gets through this though, he deserves to.

Just started planning my #spookathon tbr. As you can tell, I have yet to make some progress.

Is anyone else participating in spookathon during the week of Oct. 16-21?

ReadingsByTheC I am! I'll be working on my TBR tonight. So many choices! 7y
Bouquetofwords @ReadingsByTheC that's awesome!! I was hoping someone here was participating in it too! Have you decided on anything good for the readathon yet? 7y

Bouquetofwords @ReadingsByTheC I still have to decide between two books for thriller but I ordered a few books for the others, but I forgot what they were called. Are you going to the reading for Stranger in the House? 7y
ReadingsByTheC @Bouquetofwords No, I don't think my work schedule would allow for another book. It looks like a good book though. 7y
KatyAliceReads I just finished my TBR photo shoot! I‘m excited! 7y

Everyone needs to pick up this book because it was so beautifully written. The characters were so diverse and it was amazing. Also currently considering to join theater.

Currently reading The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. I'm almost done with it but I don't want to be because I love all the characters so much. I love the friendships and the family love. This story really opened my eyes more than before.

So I started on this book but I think I'm just going to DNF it because I feel like characters don't have a set personality and it got really confusing since there are so many people in the story. Also, the whole scavenger hunt part wasn't explained well. :/

Okay so I started this book a few months ago and I actually got it when I went to a book signing and got it signed by the author. I feel so guilty because I haven't finished the book and am so close to DNFing it. I really don't want to because the author was so sweet :(

Currently reading The Rules by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguié. You're hit with a large amount of characters in the beginning so I'm a bit confused at the moment. Hopefully I'll get through that and enjoy the book.

Pickpick

When I first got this book I didn't expect to like it at all. I just didn't think I was going to be interested since I'm more of a person who likes serious stories which I why I put it off for months. Then I recently went through a lot of sadness in my life so I picked it up because I just needed something to distract me and make me a bit happy and honestly, I'm so glad I did. I love the relationships between the characters.
