so-so⭐️⭐️⭐️|| Really interesting premise about a relatively undocumented event during WWII - I loved feeling compelled to learn more about the ill-fated St. Louis - but overall I found this fictionalized account difficult to connect to. My main hangup: the characters felt really removed from the story (especially the present day ones).
