This is a great series for those kids in your class who love a spooky story. IR The childrens version of steven king! There are many books to choose from and even a TV series to match. My favorite was, night of the living dummy, about a ventriloquist doll come to life. I wouldn't necessarily do a lesson on these but rather have them in my classroom library for students to read. Great SF/ F read. The book was made into a motion picture although, they both differ greatly they are each excellent in their own ways. I would recommend this for IR. DrSpalding You need a bit more of a summary. What drives you to believe this would be considered science fiction? Check your FlipBook as a resource. 6y
Carinna.Chin The main reason I would say science fiction is because Howl basically jumps from one dimension or time period to the net using a door. I was initially leaning more towards fantasy. 6y
