DrSpalding I am fairly sure you won this book! Good for you! Because this book is published by scholastic, there is no reason to pay for a resource. Remember you must go to publisher and author sites first along with sites produced by professional educational organizations. 4y

It tells you her story, what she and her family went through and how she survived. The English learner strategies and universal design principles should align with your selected resource and teaching strategy. 4y
DrSpalding I am not sure that storytelling would work with this particular title at least not the kind of storytelling that you experienced in our class. What would be another strategy? There is an actual English learner strategy that aligns to the use of biographies. This book looks more like nonfiction than a biography. If it is about WWII, it would be considered non-fiction. 4y

This book is a realistic fiction book about two twin brothers who love basketball. Their names are Jordan bell and josh bell and we follow their difficult story through their middle school years. This is a good easy read for kids in grades 3-5. The teaching strategy we could use is shared reading. #ucflae3414f19

The book Wishtree is about a very old tree name Red who has a very old tradition of people making wishes to Red and one day Red tries to grant that wish personality. This is a modern fantasy book that can be read by kids in grades 3-5 and is a very easy and enjoyable read. The teaching strategy I would use is independent reading. #ucflae3414f19

This book is about a princess that shows determination after someone tells her she can‘t win a race. She passes every other character in the book finally winning the race. This is a good read aloud for grades K-2. The book has some difficult vocabulary that needs explanation from the teacher. #ucflae3414f19
