This book is so, so good. I read all 400+ pages in about 2 days (with annoying work in the way). It is hilarious and so cleverly written, full of amazing characters and tropey, wholesome fairy tale romance. There's all kinds of representation in it and it just felt so good to read. I wish I could just immediately read it again.

So the first of this series, A Study in Charolette, was AMAZING. It was so much fun and everything I like in Sherlock stories and none of the things that the premise made me worried about. I was overjoyed.

I read the rest in a week and was SO disappointed. The writer is good at plot, but terrible at doing things with her characters that make sense. She finished up minor plot points, left big ones, and then gave us an ambiguous ending.

I picked up both volumes of this and loved it. Great world building, romance, women who take charge and a fennic fox! Its also beautiful. I enjoyed the whole story and hope I find more of the authors and artists works to enjoy.

This book was GREAT. The characters. The plot. The story itself. The writing was even excellent. It was more than I expected and I can't wait to try some more of his books. If you want adventure, worldbuilding, f/f romances and some great friendships this grab this now.

This book was inspired by several of my favorites and managed to capture that wondering fairy tale feeling remarkably well. The farther on I read, though, the less I liked the main character. Its not a horrible book by any means but Echo went from a girl of action, fighting back against the forest and people treating her badly to just going with the flow. I might like this one better another time when I'm more in the mood for a fairy tale.

I'm in the worst book lull. I want fantasy but none of this dark, violent kind of gross fantasy that keeps getting published right now. It's so frustrating.

This is my new book to rave about to people. It's a small publisher but oh so good. It's funny, a little unexpected and plays with the tropes you love. I love all the characters and can't wait to get a hold of her other books! Please go take a look. It's SO much fun!!

I'll preface this with the fact that I'm not a poetry person. But a friend showed me one in this book and it was good so I read the rest. I liked it. Some were perfect. Even beautiful. I can't see how you'd dislike it if you're interested in poetry at all. It's perfect for book lovers.

I always love the Cleopatra In Space books and this one is no different. Maihack's pacing on these is fantastic. The slow unravel of the prophecy, the character growth, the plot twists. Cleo and her friends are all growing and learning and the art is GORGEOUS. Read any of them. They're excellent.

The idea of this one was interesting. A rom com taken to the extreme with a bit of sci-fi horror thrown in. Only the writing is incredibly terrible. It was practically impossible to read terrible. The dialogue alone was painful but I was trying to cut the author some slack since and though maybe they were trying to write how they think teens talk. But there's no emotion to it. Making a character say I was scared doesn't cut it. Skip this one.

So I almost didn't read/finish this one. It is for teenagers and reads that way often especially in the beginning but I wanted to read this first book I've found with a genderfluid character and I'm so glad I did.

It's hard and its...impactful. I cried a lot as I read. The why will probably keep me thinking for a while. I do recommend it even if you're not a teen, but definitely if you're genderfluid of any age.

This is a great book. Full of adventure and humor and romance. Everything I could've wanted from the description. I love the characters, too.

Good lord these two are so adorable I can't take it

This book is nothing like I expected. It sounds like a nice space adventure with a good variety of aliens and sexualities. Instead it's this amazing book full of character development and an exploration on societies, families and all the ways we're different and the same.

I don't know. It's hard to explain. It's almost like reading an old Bradbury. Unexpected and hopeful, a little sad and wonderful. I can't wait to get the next one.

Do I even need to add my voice to every else's? This was amazing. A great conclusion and an amazing story. I love how much all the characters have grown and developed and love the world she's built.

This was one of the worst books I've ever read. I was so excited for different kind of Sherlock Holmes stories. Sci-fi, just various Aus, but every one of these but maybe 2 was horribly written. Most were unoriginal, sexist and boring too. Never, ever pick it up. I guarantee you can blindly pick a different book and it will be 100% better.

Ok the first one was good. This one was AMAZING. This is some of the best character writing I've read. The way she deals with trauma is excellent even if it's sometimes hard to read. It's nothing like I expected after the first one and I can't wait to read the last one!

I remember when this book came out years ago. I didn't trust it. Didn't trust anything to get published that would treat fangirls. I picked it up because of Carry On but should've left it. She can write banter and events that feel uncomfortably real sometimes but none of it did anything for me. Most of all the ending was rushed, a bit incomplete.

I never would've picked this up workout this new, awesome cover. I mean I knew it was supposed to be cute and gay and musical but the author is not one I would normally pick.

This was excellent though. Fast, easy, funny and different. She builds great characters fast and had a bit of twist that surprised me. It wasn't life changing but boy was it fun.

It's taken me forever to get this one started. For personal reasons the beginning was a real struggle for me but oh boy did I end up loving this book! I wish I'd managed to read it back when it came out and not so much later so I had people to flip out with over it.

This was a fun, often funny and very hot little romance. I always love Quinn Anderson's writing style. It's very easy and natural to me and I look forward to getting the next book in this series. I think it'll be a nice break in between heavier reads.

This book was sarcastic, hilarious, and a ton of fun. It's not to be taken serious at all but I'm really glad I read it. It was just what I needed right now.
