This book is a wonderful feast for the imagination. Truths and fables work well together as friendships are formed, purposes are revealed and futures are considered and welcomed. Storylines were cleverly woven together with secrets, curses and intentional dustings of glory. Reading this book has encouraged me to look around and really see the people that share Earth with me. This beautifully written novel has been a joy to read.

This delightful book transported me back to England, in the year 1820. I definitely experienced the joy of reading as I became absorbed into Georgie and Harry‘s world. This book was filled with charm, lovable characters, tenderness, much hilarity, satisfying romance and really good storytelling. I really enjoyed it!

This deeply felt and beautifully told memoir will take the reader on a revealing journey as the author shares stories from her life and the origin of her life. I sensed a theme of gratitude from this author who wrote with emotional depth, openness and vulnerability. I am grateful that she shared her story.

As I read this inspiring and powerful memoir, I joined the author on her epic journey to becoming a Doctor. Her path included many adventures, obstacles, challenges and side trips along the way. Lessons to take away from this book are never give up, always be grateful, choose acts of kindness whenever possible and share your hope with others.

This book was immersive and emotive. The characters had so many intense struggles and ongoing hardships. Choices were made between revenge and forgiveness…suspicion and trust. All needed to find their way home and sometimes that required great sacrifices…even the ultimate sacrifice. As I finished this book, it felt as though I was emerging from the jungle with the beloved characters.

As I picked up this book, I was immediately drawn into it. I was invited to spend part of a summer with a young girl who was processing deep grief. It felt as if I was welcomed into her neighborhood. When the magical, old telephone appeared in Kiri‘s tree, what could that mean? If you could use the magical phone to speak with someone who had passed, who would you call?

Before reading this novel, I knew very little about the practice of fracking. While penning an engaging novel of ecological resistance and filling it with well developed, complicated characters, the author presents much needed information about the perils of fracking. We all need to do a better job of taking care of this planet. Please read this book and tell others about it.

Memories, good and bad, are the puzzle pieces from our past which shape our todays and tomorrows. Jeremiah had his memories suddenly stripped away, while Remy was doing her best to keep her memories tucked away. This engaging story begins as their two worlds collide. I really enjoyed this thoughtful and well-crafted book.

Secrets and dark truths were the building blocks of this action-filled, thrill ride of a novel. As you read this quickly paced novel, puzzle pieces will fall into place as every single secret is revealed. I enjoyed the format of short chapters and the twisty storyline which kept the pages turning.

Power…when you hear or read that word, what pops into your mind? What examples have you seen throughout history? In the Bible? As you watch the news? In our churches? Is all power the same? How does corruption enter in? Is there any way we can protect ourselves and our churches from the toxic effects of power gone wrong? A very important book!

I really liked Adelaide! She knew herself well! Because of her pedigree, she was destined to become a lady of high society. She was expected to behave, dress and have interests like typical high society ladies. However, Adelaide was not the least bit typical and neither were her interests and concerns. Adelaide and Gideon‘s story was told with much humor, tenderness and affection. This book was a joy to read.

Welcome to Sleeping Grass, a small town where the characters are flawed and so very real. Through deepening friendships and family ties, each character discovered new sources of hope. The hope infused courage, strength and confidence into their lives and relationships. Pete had been taught to love words. After reading this well written book, it is obvious to me that the author truly loves words. Well done!

As I read this detailed work of historical fiction, I was drawn in to a chaotic time in Russia…WW1. The well depicted brutalities of war and all of the uncertainties that so very many had to face and endure, brought to life such a dark period of human history. Thankfully, bits of light were allowed to shine through the thick darkness. Human connections were the links that kept folks tethered to hope.
