The last 100 pages of this book wrecked me in the best way. This is by far his best work and it hit extremely close to home. The line when we could still be everything felt especially striking in the midst of my own quarter life crisis.
This is the exact right place to read about a teenager with an anxiety disorder. I really am loving this book so far #readingspot #sundayreads
Airport pick of the night - 106 pages in and it's got me so far!
Coates can put words to those concepts so many of us are spluttering to try to express. His recollections and his passion evoke empathy and understanding perhaps more deeply than anything I have read. This is the book I will keep wanting to hand to anyone who doesn't get it.
Not the book I expected but thoroughly enjoyable with characters that will stay with me :)

This one is going to stick with me for a while...I didn't know if this would be my kind of book but it's just so beautiful and hits on so many levels. A work of art. I don't remember the last time I've put a book down so in awe of the minutiae holding up the world around me.
