Watching these two interact as teenagers is extremely enjoyable. ^-^
I've always wondered what "time is relative" even means but never enough to look it up
And like thirty pages into this freaking book they just slap me in the face with the answer

Like ten pages into this book and Moist Von Lipwig almost gets caught climbing up the side of HIS OWN POST OFFICE in the dead of night.

You know, the more I think about it the more I think that Skuls reminds me of Stan Pines in an off way, what with the "Little bit of crime," punching, and general nonchalance about what's appropriate for a 13 year old.
"Shut up. But anyway, all of Dad's cousins will be there, with their families, people I hardly know, and of course Beryl and Fergus and the Toxic Twins, and it's pretty much going to be horrible, so there's no way in hell that l'm going."

There's something very familiar about Skulduggery's mannerisms and way of speaking that remind me of some other character, but I can't put my finger on which one.
It's also a shame I never read this series when I was a kid, because as much as I'm enjoying it now, 12 year old me would have adored it!
