I am finally taking on Stephen King! My mom is so proud, he's her favorite. The only other King book I've read is Under the Dome, which I loved, but overall I haven't really been able to get in to his works. I ended up with The Stand because last tenants left this copy on a bookshelf in our apartment and it's one of the few English language physical books I've found here in Sukhothai. I'm only 50 pages in, but so far so good!

This is the first time I've ever liked a sequel better!
