My husband and I went to the local used bookstore over the weekend. Needless to say, my TBR pile increased lol! Can't wait to get started! #TBRTuesday

I have some catching up to do with what I've read lol! So I love historical fiction and I love Elizabeth I. So when I first picked this up I was super excited! Then I got a couple of chapters in and realized that it's not fiction at all. I really need to read the jackets more closely lol! Either way, I loved this book. It's a good coverage of their lives and what it was to be a female in power at that time in history.

I'm a bit biased about this book since I'm a descendant of DesGroseilliers. But that aside, I think this is a well researched book about Raddison and DesGroseilliers adventures around the Hudson Bay and the troubles they encountered. If you like footnotes, you'll love this book!

Not going to lie. Goldman had me going and hoping the S. Morgenstern was real and there was another version of this book out there. After a quick Google search I know this is not the case lol! But the book is just as great as the movie I grew up with!

After a bit of a hiatus I'm back...hopefully. Anyways, I just finished watching the movie of Fahrenheit 451 and I must say that I think they did a really good job updating and adapting the story. Obviously a bit was changed from the book, but overall I think the core of it was still there. Just wanted to share that :)

On to the next one! I love the movie, so I hope the book is as good or better. I'm on a Stephen King kick lol

Finally finished the book!! Haven't read one that long it awhile! I really liked it, even though I felt the one bit was a little unnecessary. But overall a very good story. As usual the book was much better than the movies lol

Waiting to pick up the eldest from school. Can't wait to get started on the Xmas present from the hubby with my Spock buck for a bookmark! Oh how he knows me lol
