Been awhile Litsy, Juno and I are catching up on some reviews. P.s. she‘s wearing her cone because she scratched her eye. She‘s doing okay, just a little sad with her cone on.

This book was A-mazing! It felt like you were reading an autobiography of an actual person vs. a fictional one. If you love TNG, you‘ll love this book.

I seriously loved this book. I got such simple enjoyment out of it that I was sad to see it end. I grew up with Captain Picard and I loved reading about him growing up and his life after the Enterprise.

britt_brooke Great photo! 5y
Reggie Have you ever seen his guest spot on Frasier? He plays this older, sophisticated, gay gentleman interested in Frasier and it is hilarious!! And then he‘s in the movie, The Green Room, as the head of a Neo Nazi organization. He‘s so versatile. 5y
Amanda23 @Reggie Yes, I've seen both. I also love him as Professor X. 5y

Since I got the delivery notification, and I knew he was home, I called him and told him his surprise was at the door 😂

😍Made my afternoon hearing how excited he was. The call ended with, “I love you... I have to go. I have reading to do.”

Words after my own heart 😂😍

Anyone else get beyond excited (and maybe a little cocky) when they send a book to someone? 😂 He has no clue the tagged book is on its way, but he is going to fangirl scream when he opens the box... And that will, in return, make my day.... even more so than my Planet of the Apes haul will 😬

TobeyTheScavengerMonk Planet of the Apes mega-fan here too! 5y
MotionChickness @TobeyTheScavengerMonk Yes! I can‘t say I‘m a mega fan, yet... 😬 We‘ll go with aspiring mega fan 😂 But glad to know I‘ll have someone to talk to about it when I reach that level! 5y

Short novel that had an authentic feeling Picard narrating the moments in his life he felt were relevant. It scratched that Star Trek itch nicely. So many cameos from across the Star Trek universe. Has Picard met everyone of any importance? That didn't stop me from smiling when he would run across McCoy or Phlox or especially Janeway. Strong beginning and middle with the Enterprise years being the weakest. A fun read for Trekkies.

#TBRtemptation post 5! Recently released. This book tells the story of one of Starfleet's most celebrated names. An extraordinary life: court martials, unrequited love, his capture & torture by the Cardassians, his assimilation with the Borg, and many other experiences as captain of the legendary Starship Enterprise! #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎

tournevis Interesting. His auto-bio of Kirk was good enough. I'll look into it. 6y
JoeStalksBeck Neat!! 6y
