Dark, tourchured soul type characters speak to me apparently. I was captured by Mia and Arrow. I loved the back and forth and how the story unfolded backwards. I was so lost this story I almost forgot to take my daughter to dance class and then while I was reading in the loud and crowded waiting room I didn't even notice the chaos...I was all in with Blackhawk Valey. My only gripe...what kind of name is Brogan? Otherwise, I loved this book!

This book was endeering. Cute story with likeable characters. There was a little too much insecurity for my liking and it was predictable but still worth the read.

There were parts of this book that were very well written and heartbreaking, in good and bad ways, but there were some plot inconsistencies I couldn't get past.

Quick read. Great characters. Predictable, but not in a bad way. Overall I enjoyed it.

There are a lot of things I liked about this book but the thing that stood out most was that Ryan and Krista had admired each other from afar before they were forced together due to their circumstances. It made the story line much more realistic. I really appreciated that!

Cute story but one of the cases was not solved in book one...
