Late on the bandwagon I know, but this was so much fun! The audiobook narrator was terrific, too.

Not a perfect book, a bit convoluted at times, but a fast, satisfying, fun ride.

kristinshafel Just finished this yesterday and I agree with your assessment! Great pic 👍🏼📦 8y

I feel like I should be listening to "Once in a Lifetime" by Talking Heads on repeat while reading this.

I'm between so-so and pan on this mystery of a disappearing husband. Maybe too many of this genre in a row? I really didn't care for the male audiobook narrator either.

Paper Girls Vol. 1 | Brian K. Vaughan

I really liked this one - a group of intrepid paper girls in the '80's, mysterious happenings, brilliant artwork. I think this would be a good read alike for the show Stranger Things.

It starts off as a teacher seeking revenge on the students who murdered her daughter, but goes on to explore the effects of her actions on the murderers, their families, and on the teacher herself.

BookNerdBritt Wow, this sounds intense! 8y
JulieSlater It is. Had to take a break after a bit. Hope you enjoy it! 8y
BookishMarginalia Mmmm... Perhaps a little too intense for me 😳 8y

The Other Typist: A Novel | Suzanne Rindell

Wow that was a head scratcher! I would love to hear other readers' takes on that ending - talk about an unreliable narrator. The audiobook narrator was excellent as well.

Jaimelire Yes, still thinking about it! Good read. 7y
PictureandBook I thought Gretchen mol was great as the moderator. But dying to ask—what did you think the ending was about? 6y

Beautiful and powerful. An absolute gut punch of a novel. Bonus for audiobook of excellent narration by Jason Isaacs.

Very solid thriller about a missing child. Audiobook narrators were just so-so. I look forward to more from this debut author.

This book is a roller coaster of a ride. I thought it was going to be all about a teacher getting revenge on her murderous students, but that's just the beginning.

Another historical fiction home run by Sepetys about a historical event I knew nothing about. Tough subject matter, but enlightening and important. The cast of narrators in the audiobook were excellent as well.

Great Gothic thriller with lots of atmosphere. My first read by Due, not the last. Also the audiobook narrator was excellent.

Fun Friday pick @Liberty I love King, but I don't always love his endings. This one was bittersweet, but perfect.

Creepy prison set novel. Not overly scary/horror more atmospheric. Recommended for those who enjoy supernatural fiction and fans of Orange Is the New Black.

The Shining meets Orange Is the New Black kind of. Anyway, I'm digging it so far.

I loved this one pretty hard. It hit all the right notes for me: horror comedy ala Sam Raimi, 80's nostalgia, and the power of friends to the end.

Not really my thing, but I would listen to narrator January Lavoy read the phone book. That said, I liked the character of Cassie Dewell enough to read more.

The-bookie-monster I'm 200 pages into this and I love it! I almost didn't read the series because it was so insanely popular 8y
JulieSlater Cinder took me awhile to get into but then I loved it. Scarlet was so-so for me, but things really took off for me with this one. 8y
