This book is so ridiculous awesome that every time I pick it up I'm absorbed in, and just reading in awe. The author is telling such an intriguing story, but with a relatable science in the space travel and whatnot (except possibly the nanovirus... which for me is the best bit so far!!) I sort of want everyone to read this with me :) #childrenoftime #readingrules
Sometimes, when you read a book, it's okay to go in knowing that it's not great. Other times, it's devastating to read a book that is supposed to be great but isn't (Dune, I'm looking at you!). That's why I'm perfectly okay reading The Lost Symbol right now. Sometimes trash fiction like this is the best!

so-soI wanted to love this so much, but ultimately I felt as though the atmosphere that's created in the podcast just didn't carry across to this format, and ultimately made it a little boring, with some added strangeness. Hopefully the next book will be better!
