I had actually found this book while browsing kindle unlimited and decided to read it on a whim and was not disappointed. This story is about an eight-year-old boy being seperated from his family due to war and learning that he is blessed by the fountain and has powers. This book made me want to continue on with the series. I think the character development was well done and I love Owen and look forward to seeing him grow into a great leader.
