Great writing, but a little too character driven for me. I definitely respect this book and understand why it is loved by many. However, I was expecting a lot of action, and this just didn‘t deliver. I still plan on picking up the second book at some point in hopes that the title Jade WAR means more external than internal conflict.
I had absolutely no interest in being somebody else‘s muse. I am not a muse. I am the somebody. End of fucking story.
