Between the pages of a book is a lovely place to be.

An interesting premise, very original so I was pleased with that! I liked the plot line and where it led but the characters I had issues with. Their decision making skills left a LOT to be desired and there was an element of complete, scoff-out-loud moments for some scenes. 3/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very poor. Lucy was a hugely unlikeable character and her attitude towards pretty much everyone was just intolerable. So many parts of this book made little to no sense. Can anybody answer a question for me please? When Patterson writes a book with another author does he actually have anything to do with the finished product? He seems to do this a lot so I‘m just wondering!

It‘s easy to judge other peoples choices.

I‘m only a few pages into this novel but it‘s interesting so far and I‘ve seen a few good reviews so looking forward to getting stuck in!

Other than absolutely terrifying an already nervous flier I honestly couldn‘t fault this book. And hey it‘s a pandemic where would I be going anyway? I loved how it flicked from the flight and it‘s passengers stories back to Edward post accident and how he coped in the months and years after the tragedy. It was such a gripping read and I really rooted not just for Edward but all the more minor characters too.

I absolutely loved this! The blurb on the front describes it as a breath of fresh air and yes, this is exactly how I feel about it too! The characters were so appealing and the plot line so original for a romance novel I just feel like everything worked perfectly together. Would def recommend!

Ok I get that some people love this genre but man, this was.... not good. And that‘s being EXTREMELY kind. The only books I‘ve ever bailed on are the Fifty Shades trilogy and this came very close to joining that short list. I love a good sex scene as much as the next girl but like Fifty Shades the sex in this novel bordered on non-consensual, abusive and degrading way too much for my liking. Very poor.

I LOVED it!! I don‘t often give a book the five star rating but this was definitely deserving! Loved the plot, loved the characters, loved the style of writing, loved everything... AND it‘s a new Irish author that I‘d never heard of so I‘m off to find all her other books and binge read for days 😁😁 (or add them to my already humongous tbr pile.)

Mehso-so

I mean... it was ok? Not exactly my idea of what a thriller is supposed to entail and I‘m also not hugely into historical fiction so I suppose it just wasn‘t really my cup of tea from the get go. The setting of the ship was probably my favourite part to be honest as I haven‘t read a huge amount of books where that‘s the setting so that was original to me at least. The story... meh. The characters... meh. Also, unnecessarily long.

Currently making my way through the top ten books in three of Goodreads 2020 Awards Categories!! Mystery/Thriller, Romance and Fiction 😊 I‘ll admit I wanted to do all categories but let‘s face it that‘s highly unrealistic so I chose these three. If I manage to complete one or two of these categories and still have a reasonable amount of the year left I may add another category but have no clue how I‘d choose which one!

mavey Loved this one! Wildflowers!💖Personally I loved Jennifer L Armentrout's Blood and Ash Series(the 3rd book came out recently!!) and Rebecca Serle's In Five Years! Hope you can enjoy as many books as you can! Happy Reading! And welcome to Litsy!! This is such a friendly and warm community!
