I haven't had much time or energy to read this weekend. I figured I'd knock this one out before the debate.

I picked up two new books from the library today. Cannot wait to start reading!
I finished "In The Woods" by Tana French. The main character annoyed me so much I wanted him to come to life just so I could throw the book at him. Now I'm reading "No One Knows" by J.T. Ellison. Reviewers boast a likeness to Gillian Flynn. I'm not a fan of Gone Girl but we'll see. #HelloOctober #Readathon
I went to check my Goodreads account to see how many books I've read in September.... only two?!?? I can't BELIEVE it's the LAST day of September. !!!! Where did the month go??? Not including the readathon I have planned for today to try and catch up, I've read "Defending Jacob" and "A Storied Life of A.J. Fikry".
Took out the air conditioning unit tonight. This is, officially, my first read for the fall season. I still have the windows open but I'm under a pile of blankets with a steaming cup of tea on the table next to me. I love summer, but I think I love fall more.
"'It is the fear that we are unlovable that isolates us,' the passage goes, 'but it is only because we are isolated that we think we are unloveable. Someday, you do not know when, you will be driving down a road. And someday, you do not know when, he, or indeed she, will be there. You will be loved because for the first time in your life, you truly will not be alone. You will have chosen to not be alone.'"
