Loved this series! The characters, setting, and story are all believable so it‘s a quick immersion into the Solaris Empire. Vhalla and Aldrik are adorable and seeing their relationship progress was so intriguing. The audiobook is fantastic as well, the narrator does a great job distinguishing characters and has amazing accents for emphasis.

I was introduced to this series when I was in middle school (probably too early for romance novels but I don‘t care). Anita Blake is bomb she‘s a badass who raises the dead, helps solve paranormal crimes, and deals with vampires like it‘s no big deal. As the series progresses I like it less and less but the first like 10 books are so engaging and pack full of mystery and paranormal beings and situations. After the sixth book sex is the big focus.

The Host: A Novel | Stephenie Meyer

Slow start, but I‘ve loved this book since it came out! It‘s engaging and the plot is so different from anything else I‘ve read. The character development is fantastic. I‘ve listened to this on audiobook a lot too, I put it on when I drive or when I clean. Trudging through the slow start can suck, but once she‘s in the caves it speeds up. Meyer grew up a lot between the Twilight saga and this, she really developed a good pace and style.

Stephanie Meyer has improved a lot over the years, this book was engaging and I loved the whole story. I recommend the audiobook as well, I‘ve really enjoyed this story and was on the edge of my seat more than once! Some people have issues with the slower pace to get the story going, but once it‘s on the move it goes fast. Like I said the audiobook helps a lot to get through the slower parts.

I think these are standalone, but I would recommend reading Six of Hearts first, it sets up background for Jack‘s character. I enjoyed this one a lot, it‘s set in a traveling circus and the author does a fantastic job giving details and making it believable. I liked that Lille was an artist who actually DOES art, it wasn‘t just a one off note in her character. I would definitely recommend this book!

The characters and storyline are engaging, the author does a fantastic job setting up scenes and explaining tricks. Romance novels aren‘t my favorite, but I absolutely adore the love story between Jay and Matilda!! I haven‘t heard great things about the audiobook, but I would 100% recommend the book. Jay is 😍😍. I was a little worried he‘d end up being a creeper but he was charming and funny!

My least favorite of the Howl‘s Moving Castle series. It took me forever to get through the book. It was interesting because it was kind of an Aladdin spin-off, but it didn‘t hold my interest.

This is my second favorite in the Howl‘s Moving Castle series, however the main characters shift. Sophie and Howl are still there of course, but the story is about Charmain Baker, who would rather read than anything else. It was really interesting, much like the HMC the building and characters are truly enchanting!

I got this book free for the kindle, it sounded interesting. I was worried it would follow the cliches that come with falling for actors. I was incredibly happy to find that it didn‘t! Chloe is an interesting character with backstory that shows in her character. She isn‘t a fan of Jason, which helped me believe the romance. Jason is a little full of himself, but he‘s down to earth too. I love this book and have reread it multiple times.

After watching the Ghibli version of this book I was excited to learn of the book. The book doesn‘t disappoint! It was full of adventure and plot twists. There was so many different threads that worked together to produce one of my absolute favorite books! I recommend this book if you‘re looking for a well planned adventure with a touch of romance and a lot of magic
