I thoroughly enjoyed The Cruel Prince. It was a quick and easy read for me. The characters were good, the plot was interesting, and the ending left me excited for the next book in the series. The only issue I had was that the pacing was odd. A solid 4/5⭐️.

TheBookKeepers Was the pacing just inconsistent? Slow at times and fast at others? 6y
Mandolyn_Jade @TheBookKeepers The pacing was quite slow in the beginning, but towards the end it became too fast for me. It felt like a lot of the main plot and conflict happened when we only had a little over 100 pages left, which made it feel rushed. 6y
TheBookKeepers Gotcha!! Thanks for the info, this is on my TBR and now I can go into it with a better expectation 6y

I really enjoyed this one. It was funny but dealt with some heavier themes that I thought were handled really well. I‘d definitely recommend it :).

This was a light and fun Shakespeare play. It doesn‘t make much sense at times, but I would recommend not taking this one very seriously.

This honestly took me longer to finish than it should have. Regardless, I enjoyed it immensely. The world was extremely interesting and the magic system Brandon Sanderson created was original and intriguing. I was invested in the characters as well, and the writing was great. A really amazing read all around, and I‘ll definitely be continuing with this series :)).

I really enjoyed this book. I went in expecting it to be a little dull, but I was surprised. The pacing is very nice and it wasn't difficult for me to read. I definitely liked all of the allegories and symbolism, but if you're not a fan of that stuff I can see why this book wouldn't be as enjoyable.

I've heard a lot of mixed things about this book, but I personally loved it. This book was amazingly terrifying and horrified me like no other book has. Definitely a classic that I think deserves the praise.

Riveted_Reader_Melissa I felt very similar when I re-read it as an adult....when I read it in 7th grade, I just hated it though. 6y
GondorGirl This book both resonated with and terrified me when I first read it. It's been years... I think it's about time for a reread to see what adult me thinks of it. 6y
