What an interesting read! Once I started reading this book, it was hard to put down. Come to find out, it was an “unputdownable” read, according to Stephen King. The book was a gift so that is why I initially started to read it. It‘s about a woman who spends all her days INSIDE her house, drinking wine. Why? Read the book!

The Flight Girls | Noelle Salazar
Pickpick

A beautifully written first book for Noelle Salazar on a piece of history that has been for the most part, lost in history. A powerful story of the courage by the Women Airforce Service Pilots during WWII. There is even an emotional love story woven into the book.

This is the poem from the book Salt to the Sea.
I don‘t read many historical fiction books but when when I do I read them cover to cover.
This book was sad although it truly was a “testament to strength and resilience in the face of war and cruelty.” Her research was extensive and so interesting. I realized that the forgotten tragedy in this book was 6x deadlier than the Titanic!

Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks 💔💔 I love historical fiction! 5y
MidnightBookGirl I love all of her books! 5y

Criss Cross | James Patterson
Pickpick

The book was amazing with its usual turns and twists, however the end surprised me and I bet you as well. I cannot wait until his next Alex Cross book.
