There may be trigger warnings for some regarding this subject matter, Catholic priest molesting children, sex and drugs, and a risqué cabaret show. You will enjoy the main character, Reed O‘Hara, her husband Jake, the unique club, Namaste, you will root for the killer, and want vengeance against the mobster.

This is a really terrific read. I saw Barbara De-Marco Barrett At The OC Sisters In Crime Ladies of Intrigue event several years back where she was the narrator of a panel of female mystery authors. I thoroughly enjoyed this Elllie Alexander mystery. Love that she has a new series, this one set in Washington, and all about breweries. Have you read her Kate Dyer Seeley series, set in the Pacific Northwest with Meg the journalist? Also love the Bakeshop mystery series set in Ashland Oregon by the Shakespeare Festival. That one is super. Every little town should have a café like that. And every town should have a character like Lance!
