“Your voice changes when you‘re smiling, it alters the sound somehow.”

At first, I wasn‘t sure how I felt about the main character. I didn‘t know if I could root for her or not. Now that I‘m about 100 pages in...wow, I understand her SO much better. I am totally rooting for this character to grow and evolve!

As I approach the end of this novel (with a goal to finish tomorrow), I am flooded with thoughts and feelings of what it‘s like to be a woman, a mother, a daughter, a sister...what growing up looks like—even if you‘re already an adult.
