Today I finally spent my birthday book vouchers! My birthday was earlier this year so I‘ve had them a while! I got Spring by Ali Smith, The Girl Aquarium by Jen Campbell and S by J. J. Abrams! I‘m so excited to read all these books! #BookHaul #amreading

I started reading The Seven or Eight Deaths of Stella Fortuna by Juliet Grames this afternoon. This is such a beautiful and brilliant novel - I want to savour it and devour it at the same time! This is the second book for my 20 Books of Summer challenge. #amreading #StellaFortuna

JanuarieTimewalker13 I have a quick question-I see you also have British edition...I just received mine, after having to return American edition to library. My British edition does not have a family tree, like the American edition does in the beginning of the book. I‘m so confused as to why-Does yours have it? (edited) 5y
RatherTooFondofBooks My copy doesn‘t have a family tree in either, which is a shame when the family is quite complicated to keep track of. Are you enjoying the book? I think it‘s a wonderful novel so far. 5y
JanuarieTimewalker13 The book is amazing, I‘m almost done, but I think it‘s so sad that the British edition has neither the family tree nor the map end pages. I‘m going to post the Inside of the American edition later. I had to purchase an American copy. This is a lesson learned.I‘m not sure how I could decipher the difference online, however, when purchasing it. I‘ll post to alert other people. That‘s prob why the American copy is a bit more expensive. 5y

Just finished spent the entire afternoon listening (whilst reading along) to Daisy Jones & The Six and I completely and utterly adored it! The audio is brilliant and really adds to the book. I will write a full review once I've got my thoughts together but for now I loved it and I highly recommend it. #amreading #mustread

I‘m having a lie-in this morning and part-reading part-listening to I Heart Hawaii by Lindsey Kelk! I‘ve loved this series and this book is just as good. 😍 #amreading

Birdsong28 I will be reading this today as well!!! I absolutely love this series and the author. 😍📚📖 6y
RatherTooFondofBooks It‘s so good! I‘m sad this series is coming to an end but I‘m happy this final book is shaping up to be a great send-off. I hope you enjoy it as much as I am. 😍📖 6y

On my blog (link in bio) today I‘ve posted about my 20 Books of Summer 2019 challenge. Here is the stack of books I‘ve chosen! I will be reading other books as well (on kindle and audio) but I want to make an effort to read some physical books! Have you read any of these? Where do you recommend that I start? #SummerReading #TBR

Gnora My mom and I listened to In the Unlikely Event together. That was an experience I will never forget. Fantastic book. 6y
jb72 I‘ve not read any of those. Cool challenge though. I‘ve read two Rooney short stories. One I liked okay and one I didn‘t. 6y
Ericalambbrown I just finished The Goldfinch today. I adored it and it‘s going to stick with me for a long time. 💕 6y

RatherTooFondofBooks @Gnora That sounds like a lovely way to share a novel. I might look out for the audio book so I can listen and read. I‘m really looking forward to finally reading this, it‘s been on my bookcase for a while now. 6y
RatherTooFondofBooks @jb72 Thank you. I read Conversations with Friends recently and didn‘t enjoy it all that much but I did love Rooney‘s writing style so wanted to give Normal People a go. I‘m hoping I‘ll like it more. 6y
RatherTooFondofBooks @Ericalambbrown I‘m a big fan of Donna Tartt so I‘ve been really keen to get to The Goldfinch, it feels like it‘ll be a real treat. I‘m glad you enjoyed it so much. 6y
ShyBookOwl Nice stack! I can't plan ahead like that. I'm such a mood reader! 6y
RatherTooFondofBooks @ShyBookOwl Thank you. I‘m a mood reader too so sticking to this TBR will be a challenge. I‘m hoping I‘ll manage it as I‘m keen to read all of these books. 6y
Megabooks Great choices! I have tried three times to finish The Goldfinch. The prose is beautiful, but I couldn‘t lock into the plot correctly. Judy Blume books are always good for summer! 6y
RatherTooFondofBooks @Megabooks Thank you! That‘s a shame about The Goldfinch. I‘m excited to read the Judy Blume - I feel sure this is going to be a great read! 😊 6y

I finished this a few days ago but am still struggling to put into words how incredible I found this novel. I'm fascinated by the treatment idea but it's so much more than that. A thriller that will stay with me for a long time to come.

A really inspiring memoir about recovering from a traumatic brain injury. Polly Williamson is so open and honest about her recovery and that makes for an incredible read.

Pickpick

This novel is an interesting look at the way girls can be lost. It's told from the viewpoint of a 15yr old girl who is feeling pushed out at home so she runs away to LA to spend the summer with her older sister. These is glamour, seediness, a brief love affair and a sense of growing up.

Just started reading this short ebook and am really enjoying it. Milly Johnson wrote it to help a woman who has been through a living nightmare - all proceeds of this book are going to charity. It's only 99p and is a good read.

I've just finished reading this and have conflicted thoughts about it. Has anyone else read it? How did it make you feel?
