I had some gift money from my birthday and the holidays, so I decided now was a perfect time to buy a stack of LGBTQIA+ books I‘ve been wanting to collect. I‘ve already read all of these thanks to my local library. Also, I‘m going to have to go through The Book of Pride again. I read it on audio and didn‘t know there were photos!

My birthday #bookhaul is a pretty good one! Checked out a new bookstore that opened in the Austin area, Flutter, which specializes in romance. It was quite lovely, though nearly an hour away so not sure how often I‘ll make the trek. All in all, a pretty great day!
Yesterday's #BookHaul from Bookends in Keswick.
Two essay collections from beloved authors:
Garner's reminiscences on a creative life ends with the word "Finis", and it feels like it will read as an elegiac swansong from a writer we're lucky enough to still have creating in his 90s.
Le Guin's book begins with 1979's Space Crone, about the then (and still now) taboo subject of the menopause.
Then two creepy short story collections: ?
Yay for my latest #bookhaul
I was informed that I'ma a Queerfeminist Cyborg and That's Okay might be out of print, so I didn't expect to get a copy. But I did! It's one my March #roll100, but I'm not sure if I can fit it in this month.
And then I received an early Christmas gift from @VaniBarelyReads ❤ Isn't she a beauty? The book and Vani herself 💕
I attended a cozy mystery event sponsored by Kensington publishing and hosted by my local mystery bookshop. It‘s always fabulous hanging out with cozy mystery authors, and I splurged on this hardcover. A cozy mystery with food and ghosts and adult beverages? Ummm…yes please!
Now, to find the time to read it! 😂 #bookhaul
