Found a link to a free library on black history. For anyone who can't find these books at libraries and cant afford to buy try this link. Its pdfs, ebooks and videos. I'm starting with Angela Davis's Abolition Democracy, I got to meet her once when she came to Australia and could barley talk when she asked how I was lol. I'll post pic with her

Misplaced my book Blood Meridian so I'm gonna get stuck into this Tony Morrison novel that I've been looking forward to. Hopefully my other book turns up, it was just getting really good.

1984 | George Orwell

Half way through Orwells 1984, and loving it. Still haven't managed to return the motorcycle diaries to the library. I think I use books as security blankets.

RaimeyGallant I feel like I should pick this up again. And welcome to Litsy! #LitsyWelcomeWagon Some of us put together Litsy tips to help new Littens navigate the site. It's the link in my bio on my page in case you need it. 7y

Pickpick

This book gave me such good company on my constant train rides to school and work that I held onto it for another week after finishing because I just couldn't part with it.

Love all things McCarthy. This is taking me a while to read, hoping to get out of this slump soon

acorter Was a slow read for me as well. It was soooo worth it, though. 8y
SH32 Ended up taking a long break from it, but I will definitely go back after im done with my current read 8y
acorter @SH32 I had actually started this one twice and set it aside. It was one of my favorite books when I finally did read it but that didn't make it an easy read. 8y
