Needing restoration, I went to the library this weekend and checked out a pile of books. I'm on the second one already.

I wasn't expecting to enjoy this story, but I did - quite a lot, actually.
This is my book club pick. I'm reading about this girl whose grandmother just died...weeks after my grandmother died. It's...kinda disconcerting. But - so far the book is good.
You're the type of person who's got this worry-shaped hole in the middle of your head. And it doesn't matter what's going on; it doesn't matter what I do to make things better - you're going to fill it with whatever's in front of you at the time.
I have a house full of my daughter's friends and trying to read through the sound of a bunch of teenagers talking all at once is a bit tough
"I couldn't think of a more apt description for Andrew's nothing-burger wife: Whitney is the type of woman who drinks Starbucks nonfat lattes."
I'm a huge Anna Quindlen fan so I was really disappointed that I just could not get into this book and had to force myself the finish it. Guess they can't all be winners.
I saw this recommended and had the urge to buy a new book today. It somehow jumped into my cart.
Bought this at an airport so I paid too much but I figured Anna Quindlen should be worth the extra $15 I paid for it.
