I just started Reckless, but am slowly working my way through the rock n roll goddesses. Does anyone have any recommendations for other books about women who rock?! 🤘

Such a beautiful, smart and important collection of poetry. Each author offers a different style of poetry about varying topics.
Fun fact: I was telling a coworker about the book and reading her one of the biographies at which point she said, “Hey! That‘s my cousin!”

My regret for 2017...waiting so long to crack this open. What a beautiful, haunting, brilliant piece of work. 🖤

"In the beginning I was so young and such a stranger to myself I hardly existed. I had to go out into the world and see it and hear it and react to it, before I knew at all who I was, what I was, what I wanted to be."

This book could not have had better timing. Having a loved one in hospice is confusing. This book has helped me become more comfortable with this roller coaster ride of emotions. It's an incredible read.

Notafraidofwords Is it just hospice? Does she talk about Alzheimer's? 7y
SpacecruSadie @Notafraidofwords Yes she does. As a hospice chaplain she worked with people of many different ailments. This book includes stories about specific clients and lessons she learned from them. 7y
Notafraidofwords @SpacecruSadie oh okay. Great. Thanks ! 7y

Has anyone else read this?? I was skeptical at first as the text was abnormal. Backwards, in a circle, upside down, linear. The story was insane and an incredible read. If you're looking for a different kind of reading experience, definitely pick this one up.

scripturient It's been on my TBR forever. :) 8y
Notafraidofwords Read parts of this in college and hated it. I might give it another shot in the future. 8y
MrBook I've been hesitant about reading this book for the format reasoning you mention. If the story is good though, then maybe I'll give it a go after all 😊👍🏻. 8y

Afternoon vibes 🤘🏼📚

Suzze A friend of mine is a giant Patti Smith fan. So much that years ago she was a pen pal with Patti's mother. I've went with her to see Patti and do enjoy her concerts! 8y
SpacecruSadie @Suzze wow!! That is awesome! What a great experience. I am rereading Just Kids and moving on to M Train next. Such a gifted writer, musician, and artist. 8y
