Watching the sunset on the French Quarter
Watching the sunset on the French Quarter
Immersive read without tons of description. I enjoyed the “each chapter is a new thing” set up a lot. Important topic, and I appreciate how producing art like this would be cathartic for someone who experienced a relationship like that.
Great, extremely drawn out spicy scenes, and hilarious writing. Not sure if it‘s supposed to be funny, but I ended up highlighting a ton of funny parts. Super simple/digestible writing, so it‘s definitely readable in one sitting.
I loved the concept, but some characters and interactions were a little too perfectly annoying. The more disturbing bits were kind of random too, like they were written in after the fact to add some extra darkness to the story. Overall, a nice beach read, but not super memorable.
