Mehso-so

I liked this book, despite the Globe and Mail giving it a mediocre review. A great story-telling story. Very feminist, which I like in comics and graphic novels, but occasionally veered into the Atwood-esque "men are nothing but oppressors". The art was fairly rudimentary but, like the characters, I kept wanting to keep going to find out the next story.

Pickpick

I would recommend this play to anyone who was a fan of the original series.

I was concerned going in - such a huge fan of the originals, play not a novel, is a collaboration - but having read it, fears allayed and I loved the read. The humour was the same as in the originals (come on, who doesn't love Ron?) and the characters consistent with the series. The serious sides weren't delved into as much as I had hoped, but that's the genre kicking in.

I lack the appropriate adjectives to describe Carroll's brilliant ability to play with and reconsider the use of words in the English language. I highly recommend (it's shorter than I expected!) and cannot wait to share this with the future littles in my extended family.

MrBook Loved this one 😊👍🏻. 8y
