Preparing to teach a class on gothic elements in fiction and cannot put this book down. I'd forgotten how great it is.

This showed up in our Little Free Library. I do not need a test to learn that our cat is NOT a genius.

I'm enjoying reading this book, but the main character has now "borrowed" mascara from two people and all I can do is worry about the pink eye she is certainly going to get. My eye is starting to itch on her behalf.

Great and complex story set in New Orleans.

Totally engrossing.

Beautifully written. An excellent multi-generational tale spanning from WWII to post-Katrina New Orleans.

I'll read anything Sarah Waters writes. Twice.
