I started out reading this book really annoyed with aspects of Angie but, it was more of an eye roll and continue reading kind of thing.
The night I started this i stayed up all night reading and even with the things that bothered me about the character, all I wanted to do was read and I ended up really enjoying it. If I had read this when I was 14 I would have really loved it.

I really enjoyed this book. My one wish is to hear her point of view. But watching everything slowly fall apart from one dream.. very well written and wonderfully weird

I went into this without really seeing what it was about and really enjoyed it. The story keeps you going with it's twists and turns and different points of view

Listened to this one this week. Good mystery with lists of twists. Definitely keeps you guessing till the very end. I was worried that with all the hype about the ending being that big of a surprise it would be poorly done but they really drew in things from the whole book that really tied everything together.

I was so excited to read this after the first one. It keeps you guessing and I can honestly say I miss the characters. I'm sad that the series is over but it ended really well.

This book was so good. I was 50 pages in and already had things underlined. The mystery of it is great but the writing really made this book what it is. This book took me longer to read cause I savored it. Rereading passages and pages cause I loved it so much. I went out and ordered her other books cause I loved it so much.

I loved this book. This one I did audio as well and I loved the narrators - they had two narrators, one for each girl. (It's one story from two different points of view. You read one, flip the book over and read the other) i kept coming up with excuses and basically walked around with headphones in cause I couldn't stop listening. I've never read Lauren Oliver but really loved this book and it's sci fi twists.

The Nest is actually good for a family drama (which I'm not usually into) the ending seemed a little rushed to me and the side characters were more interesting and diverse than the main group of siblings that it was about. But I didn't bail. I listened to it, and I think that if I read it instead I would have given up.

"Stories are important" the monster said. "They can be more important than anything. If they carry the truth." Loved this book from beginning to end. Connor was so perfectly portrayed and made me laugh multiple times. I would suggest this to anyone. Warning- pretty heart wrenching but such an amazing book about the healing power of stories. It's gonna be hard to follow this book for the #24in48 readathon

Started this not really knowing what to expect, but come on, how can you resist the cover with the black end papers? A group of 6 thieves and outcasts set out on an impossible mission and through it you learn their back stories - the further in you read, the more attached you get. I will probably start the second one tomorrow cause I can't really stop now...

I reread this the other day, it was one of my favorites when I was younger and I'm hesitant to reread childhood favorites because I don't want to realize they weren't good the first time around. But this one is better than I remember. Green is working through her grief after her whole town and the nearby city is destroyed and even with how short the book is you really go through all her emotions and thoughts with her.

Finally getting around to reading Stephen King. Starting with The Stand (abridged is apparently the way to go) before I get to the dark tower.
