Time to read my biography, apparently.
Looking forward to reading more from this author.
Mrs March has a mental illness. How entertaining!! What fun! Let‘s write a novel that reflects the banality and sheer tedium of life with depression or anxiety, but, just for giggles, let‘s give her no self-awareness, even when the most clueless are exposed to rudimentary bullet-points on mental health. How about people who don‘t have a mental illness don‘t write about mental illness-down with psychological appropriation?
Time to grab a new book from the stack, but weighed down with responsibilities - uh, dogs. Sadie Rose is asleep on my other side.
The ending had better be worth the time I‘ve … (wasted is too harsh a word) spent on this thus far. If you have a mental illness, reading about it as a plot is either triggering or just plain boring. I‘m bored. Can we get in with SOMETHING, please? 🙄
Serious topic, dark but compelling author, whimsical coffee mug. Ready, set, go.
