Reading Kate Morton feels like coming home. Her books are always beautiful and engaging. The Lake House was a relaxing, enjoyable read that had plenty of plot twist and turns while making you wonder what would you do for love.

I listened to this on Hoopla and loved it! The cast of characters were great. I loved how he introduced a new character by reading their headstones. Being a fan of graveyards I had fun with this one!

I really wanted to love this book...I worked a ton of hours while reading it so I only had time to read for short periods...maybe that had something to do with not feeling pulled into the story?!

Disturbing read! I will just stay in my bubble and pretend none of this stuff really exists.

Post apocalyptic seems to be my thing lately. This one was okay but I won't be reading the next book in the series.

I'm a Downton Abbey fan so it was interesting to read a story from a butlers point of view and during the times of change in the great houses, but there were too many times that I wanted to take the main character and slap him up side the head!

I didn't get into any of the characters and it just felt a little flat.
