"Look at it, and think of me." "I CAN'T STOP THINKING OF HER."
Quiet and intimate. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am drunk in love / but the cup is held to my lips / and I must drink again

This story about family allows a cast of deeply flawed, yet elegantly crafted characters be the focus. Told from five points of view, the novel explores the idea that the way we see ourselves isn't always harmonious with how the world views us in return.
Shout out to #Uppercase for matching the quote of the month to my October TBR!
You tell me I am not like other girls and learn to kiss me with your eyes closed. Something about the phrase - something about how I have to be unlike the woman I call sisters in order to be wanted makes me want to spit your tongue out. Like I am supposed to be proud you picked me, as if I should be relieved you think I am better than them.
