“your a wizard harry”
Hagrid lives near me. Who knew?! 🤣
Another reread/listen of this first book! My husband is not a huge reader but loved this series as a kid, so I convinced him to start the audiobook with me on a road trip. He really enjoyed it! Of course I couldn‘t wait for our next road trip to finish it (and him needing us to listen on 1x normal speed was killing me), so I listened to the rest on my own. Still holds up!
Happy #Staycation Swap. @sblbooks your box should have gotten there yesterday. I realized last night you are missing a goodie with a card in your box that is on my desk under some papers. I will mail out this little goody to you on monday. I thought I put it in the box, but it is staring me under my paperwork. I hope you enjoy everything else. look out for it in your mailbox. Happy Swap! i did get your box!! Sorry or the delay. #litsyswap
I found the best score at the thrift store today! All 3 of these audiobooks on cd for 6 bucks. 😭 plus a few books for my kiddos.
I always have something in my ears when I go to sleep, & while I've read the HP series multiple times, I've never listened to them. I'm slowly making my way through Jim Dale's narration, sometimes no more than 15 minutes a night before I drop off to sleep. This is one of my favorite series, so all books are 5 ⭐ for me. #14books14weeks @Liz_M
Thank you to my Mother In-Law for lending me her Harry Potter collection! I finally finished the first one tonight & can't wait to begin the second one! I adore the films and I have a feeling I will adore the books just as much, if not more! 🥰
Great intro to an amazing world and story

I always thought it would be fun to try the magical candy from Harry Potter's world.
I haven‘t read the books in years. This was enjoyable to come back to after so long.
I read this during April‘s edition of the Orilium read-a-thon for Restoration.
I have finally read this! Obviously I‘m not the target audience for it, and I just never thought much about making it a priority. But it was delightful! I can see why it‘s so beloved.
And I am curious about which Hogwart‘s house I‘d be sorted into 🤔
#bookspinbingo - free space and got a bingo!
#pop25 - book I‘ve always avoided reading
Starting my yearly ritual of reading atleast one Harry Potter book each year 🪄🪄

I forgot to update the progress on my Wand Shop miniature kit. I finished it over the holidays and love it. For scale this is about 11in x 5.5in x 5.5in
I tend to read children's books for comfort reads. My first pick is the Harry Potter series then I read The Story of Ferdinand.

Visiting the real “Diagon Alley” in Edinburgh! I still can‘t believe we were there!!
Finished my reread of the first Harry Potter book. Fred and George always make me laugh.
The escapades of a young magician were the first thing that came to mind for today‘s #ChristmasCheer prompt.

My Harry Potter advent calendar is slowly taking shape now. Some of the contents are weird an I cannot place them and some of the major characters aee still missing, but overall is already looks like Hogwarts.
As part of my Christmas reading/listening, last week I listened to the first Harry Potter. It have been some years since I read it and I really enjoyed remembering all those tiny little details that the world of Hogwarts is about.
I needed to get out of my reading slump...
It doesn't even need a review, really, does it? An absolute classic.
“It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live, remember that.”
This book is it not one that I would do a lesson on because it is so long. However, it would be a fun read for any child.
Breaking News for ALL Harry Potter Fans!
🪄📚🎬📺💝.
5+/5⭐️
Ormai l'appuntamento fisso autunnale 🍂🍁 e come sempre mi sento a Hogwarts

I always love a good fantasy book and the Harry Potter novels never disappoint. The pot of the book is awesome and great for all ages. I also enjoy watching the characters grow up over the course of the series.
Teen Novel
“It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.”
This story is one that I would love to get to read as a chapter book to one of my classes. It is so descriptive and shows how we can create the imaginative worlds and put them into writing. I think this would engage young readers and get the exciting about both reading and writing. You could also go off and create whole lessons in different subjects based on this book.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's stone is a wonderful speculative fiction book that follows Harry Potter who learns about a world of wizardry that he was born into on his 11th birthday. The first book looks into his first year at boarding school which is at a school for wizards, and introduces the magical world of Hogwarts and the friends and adventures he encounters along the way.
