Didn't enjoy this one as much as the first one... I hate how depressed Lou is. And the fact that Will has a daughter he never met makes me cry.

I love Maven's character in this book!! He's so freakin' complex. Even though he's evil, he loves Mare in his own way. His mother took every human piece from him and this is all he has left. His love is crooked, but it's still love.. I read many YA books but this one is the first one that shows us that villains are people too. If Elara weren't his mother, I think he would be a better person. I feel so sorry for him.
