I love it when a book grips you right from the beginning and this was extremely the case with this one.
Audra Kinney was fleeing the country with her two kids, when she was pulled over by the town‘s Sheriff who suspected her and he arrests her, ask a fellow officer to come to pick up the kids, and throws her in jail. When She asks him where took her children, he replies.
“What Children?” And all fun begins from there.
This book was different than other NS books as it focused more on the plotline.Don't expect to be blown away by Colin+Maria's love relationship.
Overall it's an enjoyable book. Recommended if you like thriller/suspense with a bit of romance in it.
My fist CoHo book.TBH,I was close to bail but didn't.Lots of parts that got me cringing, angry n I said the word 'whatever' more than once. It has good quotes.I would recommend to read it only because I would want you to make up your mind about it.
