November 9 (Nine)
November 9 (Nine) | Colleen Hoover
Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon's last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist. Can Ben's relationship with Fallon - and simultaneously his novel - be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?

So I went crazy 🤪 & read 11 Colleen Hoover books 📚 in a row, I love her writing, stories & plot twists. Here are my absolute favs. ♥️ Unfortunately, It Ends With Us the Blockbuster movie was my least favorite.

1. November 9 (I cried like 😭 17x)
2. Too Late (Crazy unfolding)
3. Confess (Great story)
4. Maybe Someday (Beautiful characters)
5. Layla (Supernatural 👻)
6. Verity (I am still confused but loved it!)
7. Hopeless (Twists and twists)

It‘s beautiful and heartbreaking. Colleen has done it again. Sucked me into another world of love and pain that you don‘t know where it will end up.

This was a great beach read and another A+ from Colleen Hoover. I Immediately clicked with the main character Fallon, and couldn‘t get the pages turned quickly enough to see what the next November 9th held for her and Ben. Growing pains, tragedy, romance, love, loss, death, betrayal, life, redemption…🖤🖤🖤

I loved the concept, and I liked the imperfections of the main character. However... CoHo, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, please stop narratives from a teenage boys POV! You have proven you can not write as a teenage boy (Never Never 🤢🤮) I enjoyed Fallon's chapters, but Ben's chapters made me want to go at my eyeballs with a cheese grater.
I was stuck between a pan and a so-so. The twist just swayed it. CoHo and I continue a difficult relationship. 🤣

This one took me a little longer to get hooked. Possibly because I‘m still feeling a bit of a book hangover from reading Reminders of Him. But once I finally found my reading groove, it was worth every moment! The ending was everything! #LitsyLoveReads

This book was CRINGEY! Like…the way CoHo spoke as an 18 year old boy made me grimace and maybe dry heave a little. But, as ever, this book is easy to read, although overall I think this is my least favorite book of hers. I ended up skimming the last 30% or so because I knew where it was going.

Can you really go wrong with a CoHo book?! I loved this book! I loved the premise of it, I loved the twisty ending, and I loved the characters. It was a little young adult fiction(y), but I didn‘t mind that!

The premise sounds interesting. Guy meets girl, she moves, they keep in contact, and he rips off her traumatic story to write a novel. But the story is about a meet-cute that goes on forever, and I just can't wait that long for the more sinister stuff.

Reggie Last year I was reading a lot of horror. When I finally read something else I thought to myself- you know what would make this better? A monster or a murder. Lol 2y

I really liked the concept of this book, but it definitely had me cringing at times. At certain parts, it was odd and poorly written, but despite this I flew through the book in a day. There were a lot of really romantic and sweet parts, and overall it was super entertaining. I would recommend to people looking for a quick and engaging romance as long as you are willing to look past some weird, unrealistic and toxic elements

November 9: A Novel | Colleen Hoover

It must be one of the worst “romance“ novels I've ever read. The male lead is genuinely one of the most unbearable characters I've ever read, half the time he's objectifying her body and her scars, and the other half is spent being a tumblr poet in 2014. The worst part is that it's marketed as a romance which is awful in itself. 1/5 stars I hate this book.

If CoHo‘s name is on it, I‘ll be picking it up off that shelf.📚 The characters she writes are always people I‘ve been able to identify with in one way or another, and I just have so much fun living vicariously through her novels. This is the third book I‘ve read of hers, and this one might be my favorite so far.✨ Her novel “Verity” was absolutely mind blowingly good! But I‘m biased with my love for a good romance, and this one‘s a 10.🥰

This charming story will grab you by the heartstrings and pull you right in. Trying to find where you fit in to life after it changes, and it shows how important it is to find that partner who loves you for you and brings you up and raises your confidence.

With typical CoHo style, the twist will leave you jaw dropped and in shock. This book made me laugh, made me choke up, made me feel all amounts of emotions.

Such a love/hate with Colleen Hoover books--they are very addicting (for me) but so much toxicity and trauma, and the outcomes are just so unreal. Either way, already have my next two Hoover books lined up 🤪

As all the other books by CoHo, I loved this one, maybe a little more than other but even a little less than Confess.
I always wait with anxiety for the moment when I finally understand the meaning of Colleen‘s books and as always they surprise me.
I think CoHo is an excellent writer, even though she may add something to her books that I don‘t agree with.
Loved this story though.

This is an emotional roller coaster. Only get on if you think you like roller coasters. There were times I was just plain frustrated then I climbed far up only to plummet farther down and in some parts I found myself upside down. That's it. That's my review.

Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Verity was technically my first Colleen Hoover book but November 9 is the first I've read from her romance collection. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this one since I've heard her books are very emotional. Well, this book was just wonderful and I loved it.

As I was about 75% through the book, I thought I had the ending figured out but then there was a twist and that made the story even better.

Why did it take me this long to find this author? I don‘t even really like love stories…well that has now changed! How many more do I get to read? Ben defends Fallon after he over hears her father say that bc of her scars her acting career may be over. A story of being confident in yourself and loving no matter what. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️
