It's just wouldn't be right if I didn't mention LOTR for #fullofadventure 💁🏻 Tolkien has written some of my favorite books but I love nothing more than LOTR. And I had to use this wonderful meme because it's so true lol Gandalf, Gandalf, Gandalf #booktober

BookFreakOut Could call in air support for the battle, waits until Aragorn is literally getting stomped on. What a punk. 7y
b.reading @BookFreakOut promises to lead Frodo the entire way, peaces out an hour into the journey only to return 200 days later with new hair and wardrobe 7y

#literarybestfriend I'm a big softy when it comes to strong male figures (who aren't love interests) in literature. It's hard to come by so when I came across Barristan Selmy I was SO happy. He's a strong, well written character who becomes a great friend and confidant for Dany. Not only is he a good friend to Dany he was also a good, loyal friend to the entire Targaryen family. He's someone you'd want by your side in life and in battle!

Laalaleighh Isn't all of literature pretty much strong male figures who aren't love interests? 7y
b.reading @Laalaleighh what I meant was that it's rare to find a male who isn't "heart eyes" at the female protagonist but is by her side without any hidden intention. I was trying to make the comparison with him and Jorah because he is essentially the same character as Barristan except he's obsessively in love with Dany. Not enough room there to explain that lol 7y
Laalaleighh @b.reading ok that makes sense. Haha I just thought it was random haha 7y
b.reading @Laalaleighh lol yeah, trust me I know girls are the ones always stuck as the love interests 😂 7y

Check, Please! Litsy doesn't have this title yet but I highly recommend it! Eric Bittle is a former figure skater whose about to get the shock of his life when he decides to play hockey at a prestigious university. As a female sports fan I don't get too many comics like this coming my way so when I found it I was eager to try it. Here's the link to check it out yourself http://omgcheckplease.tumblr.com/episodes

BookFreakOut I don't even know anything about hockey and I love this one! 🏒 7y

Can't forget my Audible book I'm almost finished with! Now, I'm a newb when it comes to audiobooks but I have to say after reading The Girl on the Train as my first, I can't stop! So why not go on to another book about another woman on some form of transportation?! Now I have to say I was hooked with this book pretty quickly. Bad things happen before she even steps foot on the ship, things can only get worse (better for the reader) from there!

LiteraryinLawrence Welcome to Litsy! I read this one (paper version) last month and liked it. Hope the audiobook is good! 7y
b.reading @LiteraryinLititz Thanks! The audiobook is really good, I'm always nervous about the narrators but this one does a great job! 7y

So I have to admit, I ALWAYS judge a book by its cover. But before you say "how could you?!", I must explain that I've never picked a bad book when choosing by the cover. While walking around the good ole B&N with my old college roommate two beautifully colored books caught my eye. The second and third book on the series! So we scoured the shelfs for the first book and ALAS here she is! I can't wait to get started ?

BookFreakOut Can't wait to hear how it is, might have to go get it myself! 7y
Vexingcircumstance I judge by cover too. And size. I'm very picky, for example, about the size of poetry books. I only like small paperback poetry books. 7y
