It's a quirky satire and gave me some Wes Anderson vibes in the start with the story playing out mostly through notes, documents, emails, etc. It just lost me somewhere. Also, I normally don't feel compelled to 'get into' or 'identify' with a character but I literally hated everyone in this book.

Haunting, just haunting. A very approachable classic. Lyrical & macabre. 10/10
