Cute love story. Perfect for those readers who like "The Summer I Turned Pretty" and cozy little romances. I will say the main characters could be a little annoying just because I felt like there was so much back and forth about their prospective relationship. But then again, I remember how it was to be a teenager and have super low confidence when it came to relationships. A good book for teens to read.

It was very cute. Very sweet. But towards the end it got kinda annoying. These characters could have communicated so much more than they did and yet didn‘t. But overall, it was an enjoyable read. I actually liked the squirrel! A solid 3 stars.

I heard about this book on the #booksunbound podcast and immediately ordered it. Then I received it in the mail yesterday and I immediately read it. It was adorable. This YA book tells the love story of Lea and Gabe through 14 perspectives other than their own (their creative writing professor, friends, siblings, a bench, a squirrel). It's a slow burn but man I was invested. My only complaint is that the writing was a little elementary. 🤷🏼‍♀️🙈❤

A perfect start to a cosy wintery read. Not to mention this adorable story was just a delight. Is it weird that a squirrel was my favourite secondary character? I'm also embarrassed that those sorry gave me major vibes from my own past dating life.... All the feels 🥰

Starting this book out.. I couldn‘t help but to notice the juvenile writing voice that the author has. I‘m not big on romance books as it is.. so reading through the chapters I had more than a few “eye roll” moments. 🙄🙄🙄
That being said, I kept reading because it was just interesting enough to keep my attention. WELL by the end of the book Sandy Hall won me over. She replaced my eye rolling with “Awwing” 💘

I just read straight through The Maze Runner series. And I thought to my self, "Self, what can I read that's different now that I'm done this?"

This seemed appropriate.

Excellent palate cleanser. Not a lot of substance and annoying at times but I still finished it. I‘m sure somebody else will appreciate it more than I do. Little free library bound

3.5 stars to this cute story about introverts who like each other. It stretched a bit too long, but overall it was good. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Picture shows the 3 books I finished today! ☺️) #MountTBR

A little story about two people awkwardly falling in love. We've all had those friends and watched a similar something play out in real life. It's just adoreable. 😍 This is a fun, simple, and quick read. Great for a cozy winter day!

This book wasn't necessarily BAD, but it was definitely trying too hard. No, everyone is not going to be obsessed with this girl & boy's crush on each other. They are not always going to be thinking about them and talking about them and noticing them. Especially when the girl and boy are so unremarkable. This novel is very light, very fluffy, very sugary, and extremely cheesy. That makes for a dessert that isn't so great. #bookfail

The title says it all. This book is a little something different! The difference between this book and so many others is that the story is focused on two college students, but the story is told by fourteen different viewpoints. And get this! The viewpoints of the story is the creative writing teacher, the baristas at Starbucks, the bus driver, the waitress at the diner, a squirrel, and a bench to just name a few!

A love story told from many different perspectives, but not the two people falling in love, is certainly different. It worked really well though, in this incredible sweet romance. 💕

I love this YA romance story. The story is told in the view points of the people around the people that are falling in love. I never read anything like it before and is still one of my favorite reads.

Something about different point of views and romance combined is what draws me in the most, and this had alot of different point of views and I loved it! ♡
Although it was a little frustrating with 2 characters, it was still good I still loved it and was very happy with the ending ♡

This was a really cute story about two college students, told from #multipleperspectives, but done in a simple format that's quick to read. I loved that all the POVs are from friends, professors, acquaintances, and even inanimate objects, but not from the main characters themselves.

Just finished reading this. It was pretty cheesy, but cute. It is told through other people's POV but never the two who the book is actually about. There were even POV's from a squirrel and bench, which was a little too much for me. This is great if you want a really fast, quirky, mushy, sometimes cant help but sigh and roll your eyes read.

This had such great promise but I couldn't get into it. I didn't really like the style it was set out on and I couldn't even finish it. I'll try again at some point but at the moment epic bail

thegirlwiththelibrarybag It's a lost cause if you don't like the writing style 😂 I think you either appreciate a POV chapter from a squirrel and a park bench... Or you don't. 8y

It's probably not the most exciting thing I've ever read, but it was a good book I enjoyed every minute of it until the last second. This is not your ordinary love story and I think it's interesting that it's written from different perspectives. This would not be my first recommendation choice.

A LITTLE SOMETHING DIFFERENT was exactly what the title suggests. Something different, quirky, and a really quick read! It didn't make me think but it was definitely cute and fun to dive into.
