Tried to read this ages ago. Finally completed it recently with a few friends. Super violent. Pretty good story, but the payoff was not worth the violence to me. Happy to have friends to discuss with though. Make it more bearable.

chaoticgoodhufflepuff I adore this series! If you like audiobooks, you should give them a try. Tim Curry reads the first three and he is utter perfection as Mogget. 4mo

There was nothing scary about this book for me. I picked it as my book of the month because it had a high creep factor. I really enjoyed the people drama, so it‘s still a pick, just didn‘t give me my hopes for nightmares.

I have seen so many reviews where readers said they liked the book despite hating Queenie‘s attitude and wanting to throw the book and shout at her for her behavior. That‘s why I loved it though. It was a realistic look at anxiety and the spiraling effect it can have. The worst case attitude, the negativity, the self-destruction. I loved Queenie. ✨💥
