this one actually surprised me! well... for a while at least. I did figure out the ending a bit before the big reveal, but it didn't make is any less satisfying. I have to admit, I didn't have high expectations for this book from the start- the writing wasn't exactly what I enjoy (to much telling vs. showing, conversation etc) but the parallels of the witch trials with modern bullying were 👍👍. plus... WITCHES. need I say more?
