BTW this book was mentioned by Cory Doctorow at last night's talk
The author Gabriella Coleman embedded with the EFF for a few years as an Anthropologist
I'm definitely going to add it to my reading stack

Enjoyed this, but had to put it down a few times whilst trying to process the question - how would I react?
Some very good characters, some excellent personal and big idea scenes along with a richness of science to keep me happy.
It‘s also a good story, well written - just persevere.
This one of my favourite #Scifi stories (book & film)
It seamlessly blends the what if with the what is (circa 1970)
The film script is full of diagrams, notations & extensive notes for the actors and crew. It is a work of art in itself.
Go have a look, you won' be disapointed

It‘s a John Grisham.
Bought for me by my Mother in Law for xmas. A process that have provided some hits and misses over the years.
So review wise I would say well written, pedestrian plot that it is sown up well at the end so you get closure.
Not on par with Rainmaker or a Time to Kill.
Even the cover of the book was meh. I like this one better
I know there are quite a few HP fans on here. Was lucky enough to go on the WB tour with the family.
If you are in the UK or plan to visit, add it to your schedule, you won't regret it.
Everywhere you looked ,there was another prop, costume or full set.
We got to wander through the Great Hall, look in the Gryffindor dormitory & common room and admire Dumbledores office.
This is however one of my personal favourites, the Knight Bus.
This was is in the mixed bag that were my xmas presents. Some bought for me, some given to myself.
Already deviated from the plan of reading these before getting anything new in
I‘ve just finished this and I was excited to begin it as I really liked the other Adam Roberts books I have read. By the end, my enthusiasm was dampened a little.
It is well written, but didn‘t grab my attention like New Model Army or Land of the Headless did. The journey is disjointed, but that is sort of the point. Will have to reread it again later.
