#BookCoverChallenge
Day 275.
Here I will note 365 books (or as many as I will have before I get tired) that have shaped my taste in literature. No explanations, no reviews. Just the cover of the book.
I do not challenge anyone. You are all welcome to take part.

I am doing a reread of the series. The 3rd book is my favorite. To me it‘s the first book that really gives up information about the characters pasts as well as set up for the the future books. It is the most surprising if you‘re a first time reader. This one peaked my interest most consistently of all the books.

I think this is the 10th time I have read this book and I love it more each time!! I truly despise Snape in this book and you begin to see Harry struggle with certain things!! A truly wonderful book!!

#BookReport - Finished 4 books this week. All were really good. I‘m currently rereading my way through the HP books.

#CurrentlyReading - The Verifiers (struggling a bit to get into it). HP on audio and History of Wild Places. Only about 60 pages into it, so not sure yet.

#WeeklyForecast - Not sure how exhausted I‘ll be after work yet, so keeping it simple. A River enchanted is my #DoubleSpin book.

Cinfhen I‘ve never read any HP 🤭 2mo

I listen to HP before bed to quiet my mind as I fall asleep. But my anxiety has been bananas lately so I decided on my commute and my lunch work out I‘d just continue. Especially bc it‘s my favorite book! Nothing better than the comforting hug of old friends!

JenReadsAlot Mine too lately... ugh 3mo

This was a re-read, but I hadn't read it in at least 7 years. There's so much that I didn't remember, such as how truly horrible Snape is to the trio. I loved all of Harry's interactions with Lupin and his uses of the Patronus charm. I also enjoyed all of the quidditch matches. I wish the movies had more quidditch. I ended up reading most of this book over the last week which is pretty quick for me lately. Now onto GoF!

1. I would time travel back in time to visit loved ones who are not here in the present.

2. I see so many already tagged The Time Traveler‘s Wife, which I loved, so I‘ll add Hermione and her time-turner.

Thanks for the tag @TheSpineView !

9/10
I really enjoyed this book! The beginning was a bit slow for me (as was the movie), but by the middle I didn‘t want to put it down. I loved getting more of an insight into James Potter and Snapes backstory, along with the role Crookshanks played throughout. However, Ron did make me so mad with the way he was acting towards Hermione the entire time! I was mostly happy to read a more in-depth ending when they are in the shrieking shack!

Concerning Sirius

quote
Jenniebooks

How dare you speak to Harry!

How dare you talk about James in front of him!

You sold James and Lily to Voldemort, didn't you?

I didn't mean to! The Dark Lord. You have no idea the weapons he possesses! Ask yourself, Sirius! What would you've done? What would you've done?

I would have died!

I would have died rather than betray my friends!

I don‘t have the words to how freaky this chapter is. Too many expletives come to mind. Rowling‘s a master.

During 2020 my partner and I had planned to reread all the HP books together, we made it to book 3 which I never officially finished because well I pretty much took a reading hiatus that year plus I was pregnant and could not stay awake to read ! We decided to start it back up again and I FINALLY finished Prisoner of Azkaban. It was always my favorite book of the series because as a kid my mind was blown at the plot twist 🤯.

Kayla.Adriena Although we are disappointed in JK Rowling.. these books had a profound impact and great influence on our reading lives as children. We plan to continue the tradition of sharing them with our daughter 4mo
IamIamIam I love those Brian Selznick covers!!! We saw the whole drawing end to end at the History of Magic exhibit and it was amazing! 4mo
Kayla.Adriena @IamIamIam Awesome! Where was that? For our re-read we bought two new sets , this one and then another where the spines form the Hogwarts Castle 4mo
IamIamIam @Kayla.Adriena It was in NYC at the New York Historical Society. Great museum, surprisingly great exhibit! 💗 I love that you're sharing the story with your little ones too! My kids are lukewarm about it all but we've been to Universal and they were amazed by Hogsmeade & Diagon Alley in the theme parks. 😁 4mo

Terzo capitolo della saga tra cui uno dei miei preferiti della saga, scritto magistralmente e scorre benissimo, con un finale a dir poco avvincente, consigliatissimo!
