Shdbhdjdj i‘m only like half-way through chapter one and its so so so judgy so far

Love! Lots of interesting information and just makes me want to read more about the history of Earth. The chapters at the end, about our time and the last extinction, might be my favorite.

I cannot even tell you how much effort to not rage quit this book. I wanna respect the fact that the author has a MD but MAN she drank the kool-aid hard. Some of her points are valid but they are majorly undercut by the fact she recommends COFFEE ENEMAS, CLAIMS VACCINES ARE BAD, AND CALLED BUPROPION A SSRI (which really gets me because THEY ARE NOT and as a psychiatrist SHE SHOULD KNOW THAT). I have so much rage for this book. Just. So. Much. Rage

I‘m not sure if it‘s the translator or just my epic hatred of epic poetry but I am so fucking happy I only have a third of this left. (Trying to not think of how long that third might take me)

Not gonna lie it gives me an inordinate amount of joy to have Greek “Heroes” (who are all really pieces of shit) placed in Hell

I know this is a metaphor but I‘m like 90% sure that‘s not what your supposed to do when you ask someone for their opinion and they say something you don‘t like.

This book, or more specifically this woman, is wicked interesting. I can't wait for the second one to come out! My biggest compliant with the book is that, excluding Dallas and Mexico, the months and years tended to blend together. Some schemes were mentioned but mostly things were glossed over. I would recommend if you're looking for a short but exciting read.

Tom's 'memoir' was compelling enough that I could not bail and that might be the worst part, because I agonized 85% of the time. All Our Wrong Todays managed to hit all my pet peeves (most notable: insta-love, sloppy world building, and 'your love heals me' trope) thus souring the entire experience. Had high hopes and was let down.

The review I tried to write was too long, so I'll have to do my least favorite thing and try to shortly write about how important "They Can't Kill Us All" is... This book goes into further detail than any news article could provide on its own. While a life lost is a life lost no matter what, it is compelling to learn more about not only the events or protects, but also the hard work and roles that activists play behind the scenes.

I am so glad that someone actually said this. I always feel like there is a kind of pressure to keep your chin up and be proud of your heritage. But let's all face it, there are some people who you can't be proud to have in your family tree and while you can't exactly disown them, you can choose to not let long-dead people to influence your choices and views.

This really struck me and for a moment I couldn't figure out why. Yeah, they were doing something a little unlawful, it makes sense that they plan who gets arrested. I realized that it was that exact thought that made this feel so fucked-up to me. Peaceful, lawful demonstrations aren't enough to make people listen. It is the fact that they are right when they think they have to force the other side's hand.

Fucking finally Rafe's bad decisions are biting him in the ass. I've never been so glad for something bad to happen to the MC

Rafe is seriously the most exhausting narrator ever. If you want people to play along with your fucking game then you have to tell them what the moves are beforehand you fucking bonehead. He is so spoiled I actually can't stand it omfg

I don't understand how Rafe gets so fucking lucky with his bad decisions not biting him in the ass (yet I suppose)

Someone please help me I keep rereading Uprooted over and over because I don't know how to move on from this book.

I think this novel might end up being my fave read of 2017. It's just so beautiful and compelling and I have so many feelings about all of it. Of course there is another 11 months of new releases ahead so who knows 😊 #AllIsNotLost #westillgotbooks

I'm hoping both that this novel will fuck me up as bad as I'm expecting and that it will (miraculously) have an at least somewhat happy ending

I can already tell I'm going to have such a book hangover after finishing this. It's even better than all the hype made it seem and I'm so in love with it and my brain is so scrabbled. Someone please save me from being even more fucked up by this attack on my personal wellbeing.

i was reading a sample to see if this series would be good for #readharder2017 (im just going to assume thats a tag...) which it definitely is, imho, by the way but instead i ended up buying the book and spent the last four hours of 2016 reading it (quite literally nonstop - no food, water, or bathroom breaks). so yeah, i guess you could say this novel is pretty great.

allow me to just dissolve into tears over how bittersweet that ending was

This was the first audiobook I listened to and I'm so glad it was! Tina Fey is (obviously) hilarious and listening to the stories she has was great! Definitely recommend!
